I too really enjoyed the Alphonse Mucha exhibition in 2015. I had come to study this artist with my High School Art students, and we all really admired his art and were inspired in our own art.

Since then I have had the chance to bring my Middle School art students on field trips to the Carnegie. We looked at artwork that was showing at the time and then created our own art in the studio there. It was a lot of fun for my students and for me.
I loved the exhibition featuring art from Dan Peterson & Cheryl Barnett in the winter of 2019; I had the chance to go to the reception and speak with Dan. He was my college art (watercolor) professor, and I truly enjoyed being his student.

I have been to the Carnegie Arts Center many times and can’t wait to come enjoy events again soon. I also plan on becoming a volunteer at some point to be more involved there. It is a beautiful place.
Thank you for the opportunity to share these memories!
